Q:  When are your meetings conducted?

A:  General Membership meetings are held as follows:
      Second Saturday of Every Month in Bowie, MD for DC/Central Maryland Members 
      Third Saturday of Every Month in Chantilly, VA for Northern Virginia Members

Q:  Where are the meetings held?

A:  The DC/Central Maryland Members General Meetings are held at the Florian Hall in Bowie Maryland, 13701 Old Jericho Park Road.  Please Click Here for Directions to Florian Hall.

Q:  Is there a fee to attend the meetings?

A:  To Attend ALL meetings requires prior registration.  GENERAL MEMBERSHIP Meetings Require Tickets, Which Are COMPLIMENTARY and May Be Obtained By Clicking Here.

Q:  Are there paid memberships to the club?

A:  Basic Membership in the club is FREE.  Members also have a variety of membership levels of paid memberships which are listed on this website along with the benefits of each level of membership.  Please click here for more information.

Q:  How long has the club been in existence?

A:  DC-REIA is the longest running MASTERMIND GROUP focused on Real Estate Investing in the 90 Mile Radius Around the Washington Monument, Which Comprises the Greater Washington, DC Metropolitan Region.  The initial group of four originially met at the COMFORT INN In BOWIE. MD.  From this original group, the club has grown to over 3,742 members, many of whom now live outside the DC Region but continue to receive information on a regular basis and return to Washington in the Fall for the Club’s Annual SUPERCONFERENCE.

Q:  About how many members attend each meeting?

A:  Depending upon the time of year, the topic discussed and the weather conditions, approximately two hundred and fifty to three hundred and fifty members are usually in attendance at the GENERAL MEMBERS meeting on Saturdays.

Q:  Do you provide food at the meetings?

A:  Food is usually only provided at private member sessions, or the GOLD+ Members meetings which usually follow the GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING.  For more information on becoming a GOLD+ Level member, please click here. 

Q:  How do the club meetings benefit the members?

A:  “Life Changing Information…” is the term most frequently used by new members attending their very first DC-REIA meeting.  There are endless opportunities for networking, deal making, Information sharing and expanding your thinking about money and wealth creation by attending the meetings and listening to knowledgeable speakers and seasoned real estate professionals who have first hand knowledge about what “really works in the Greater Washington, DC real estate market”.

Q:  How can I become a speaker at the club?

A:  You will need to complete an online submission form with your contact information.  Subsequently, you will be asked to provide a description of your product/service, a copy of your handouts for evaluation, and 3 relevant references.  Please click here to complete the online submission form now.

Q:  Can I give out flyers at the club meetings?

A:  NO! Only pre-approved sponsors can handout material at our meetings.  Unfortunately, in the distant past, an incident occurred in which an unscrupulous attendee handed out fraudulent information.  Fortunately, a club member brought this to our attention and the person was removed from the meeting prior to anyone in attendance acting on the fraudulent advice.   Therefore, anyone handing out materials without prior approval will be asked to retrieve their information.  A Public Announcement will be made informing the group that DC-REIA in no way endorses what was handed out will be made and all in attendance will generally be asked NOT TO PATRONIZE the person’s handing out the information.  If you would like to avoid a potentially embarrassing situation for yourself, we suggest you follow the directions below:

Q:  How can I become a sponsor at the club?

A:  To be considered as a sponsor for future openings on the Sponsor’s List, you will need to agree to adhere to the club’s CODE OF CONDUCT and submission of an email the Club’s Executive Director Ms. Lisa Wicks at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   for review, three (3) references and a sample of  your handouts in the form of PDF or word format must also be submitted for consideration.

Q: I am a vendor/contractor/service provider.  How can I market myself to your Club?

Q: Do You Give Away Door Prizes Such as BIG SCREEN TV's at Your Meetings?

A: "Poor People Have Big TV's, Rich People Have Big Libraries!"

We do give away a number of items at our meetings.  Specifically, we provide our members with MEMBERSHIP REWARDS, and since our Basic Membership is FREE, there is NEVER any purchase required to receive one of our MEMBERSHIP REWARDS, however, you do have to attend our meetings to be eligible.

The reason we provide MEMBERSHIP REWARDS is because we recognize that sometimes you just need a little motivation to reach your ultimate goal, which is of course FINANCIAL FREEDOM!

Our incentives programs include things that are not only "Way Cool", such as Apples New iPhone, but also contribute towards your goal of FINANCIAL FREEDOM.  Such as Autographed books from High Achievers, Brand New iPods with Real Estate Courses and Motivational Audio Books Pre-Loaded, and trips to Exotic places such as the Ritz-Carlton® Club on the Beautiful Island of St. Thomas.

Studies show that BIG TV's detract from achieving FINANCIAL FREEDOM, which is why we do not include them in our Membership Rewards Incentive Program.
